At-Risk Children Foundation, is tax exempt 501 (c)(3) charitable organization established in 2003, serving orphans and vulnerable children in Haiti by providing shelter, nutrition, education, and healthcare. (ARCF's) mission is to improve the childrens' quality of life and create sustainability so that they will become successful, prosperous adults within thier communities.

Community-based care is provided for the children in order to immediately improve their quality of life. Clean water, basic sanitation, access to health care, and education are limited commodities that are excluded from individuals an families of lower ecomnic status in Haiti. Orphaned children frequently at risk of emotional disturbances, delayed social development and poor educational performance. The Home Group parents who are helping raise these children, until we built their own home, require ongoing special resources and support.

Our goal is to create a family oriented environment for the children to grow and learn together, sharing responsibilities, successes, trials, joys and sorrow of daily life. Such a life while growing up will prepare and equip them for an independent future. As adults they will be able to stand on their own and achieve self-reliance, financial independence and social integration.
