At-Risk Children Foundation, has been incorporated as a charitable organization, with tax-exempt 501 (C)(3) status, with a mission to improve the quality of life for orphaned and vulnerable children in Haiti, by providing them a home, nutritious meals, clean water, clothing, healthcare and education.

It provides a community-based care to sustain the quality of life for the children’s in its care, by creating a temporary Home Groups Care. Orphaned children frequently at risk of emotional disturbances, delayed social development and poor educational performance. The Home Group parents who are helping raise these children, until we built their own home, require ongoing special resources and support.

Our goal is to create a family oriented environment for the children to grow and learn together, sharing responsibilities, successes, trials, joys and sorrow of daily life. Such a life while growing up will prepare and equip them for an independent future. As adults they will be able to stand on their own and achieve self-reliance, financial independence and social integration.
