At Risk Children Foundation - Donate to the Haiti's Children

AT RISK CHILDREN FOUNDATION MISSION - is to provide a home, food, clothing, healthcare, spiritual needs and education , to improve and sustain the quality of life of Haiti’s orphaned children.

Our goal is to create a healthy family-oriented environment for the children to grow. As adults they will be able to stand on their own and achieve self-reliance, financial independence and social integration.

FUTURE PROJECTS

SOVEYO VILLAGE

The “Sovéyo Village” will be a model demonstrating how things should be done for children who lost their loved ones. These children are thirsty of touching, holding, emotional support and especially of the love that usually only mothers in this society have the time or the inclination to give. Even before the age of two, children are sensitive to feeling of loss or sensing stress in elders and seek reassurance. This community will create opportunities, programs and services for the children to become balanced, responsible, and contributing members in their society. .

The children's daily lives would be secure in a natural family-oriented environment. This improved quality of life while growing up will prepare and equip them for an independent future.

We are Almost There!

We needed: US$135,000 for the land US$500,000 to build a small village.

We gave glory to God that some Canadian/Haitian families, descent originated from Cavaillon.] donated to At-Risk Children Foundation 14 ½ acres of land in a beautiful clean rural section called Girodier, nearby a breath taken site of the river to build the Sovéyo Village. Cavaillon is one of the commune of Les Cayes, located in Haiti's Southwestern regions, only ten minutes drive from Girodier. We have a design to build 10 bungalows - house type - , which will accommodate 80 to 90 children. There is also a small farm for an agricultural practice project, a poultry farm, a bakery shop to develop marketable skills, critical to establishing longer-term self-sufficiency.

The amount to complete this project is $500,000 in 3 phases:
● Phase I estimated at US$240,000 ( Not funded yet)
● Phase II estimated at US$160,000
● Phase III estimated at US$100,000
