SPONSOR A CHILD
One of the most effective ways to help a child is to become a sponsor.
• A gift of $50 provides a child with two nutritious meals a day for one month.
• A one-time donation of $680 provides a child with basic needs, medical assistance, clothing and education for one year
Most children want to feel special. They want to write or send a drawing to someone who cares or hang a picture of that special someone above their bed. As a sponsor, you can help fill this void in their life.

Help raise funds for the Sovéyo Village
The Sovéyo Village will be a model demonstrating how things should be done for children who lost their loved ones. These children are thirsty of love, especially of the love that usually only mothers in this society have the time or the inclination to give. This community will create opportunities, programs and services for the children to become balanced, responsible, and contributing members in their society. DONATE what you can so that we can continue to provide food, to support the Home Group Families’ needs, the children’s education and their health. Fund raises for the Sovéyo Village Project by telling others. Donate now.. |

ONE FAMILY INTERNATIONAL
P.O.BOX 2260
Cedar Park, TX 78641-2260, USA
October 16, 2006
To Whom It May Concern:
One family international (OFI) was contacted early in 2006 by the At-Risk Children foundation (ARCF) with a request for funding for a water cistern to be built to serve a group of orphaned ARCF takes care of.
Additionally, the nearby staff and villager were to benefit from the water catchments system. Also requested of OFI by ARCF was assistance in organizational development, through consultancy services by OFI’s director.
With a couple of phone calls, OFI was able to ascertain that ARCF is an honorable and effective organization. Do to the emergency need for the cistern and the pending rainy season in Haiti, during which the water could be caught, OFI fast-forwarded the application approval process. An award of US$9,000 was made, along with an initial visit conducted by the OFI consultant.
In short order, the volunteers supporting the orphanage in Haiti went to work and built the cistern, which is now in use. Additionally the OFI director spent four days working with the ARCF director in developing a plan for board development. Several names of possible board members were provided by OFI.
ARCF has been diligent and responsive in performing its duties and responsibilities during the course of this relationship between the two agencies. The success in building and implementing the water catchments project and the board development recommendations that have been enacted speak well for ARCF.
OFI is confident of the future development and success of ARCF.
We are pleased to be part of t he development of ARCF and look forward to our future working relationship.
Sincerely,
Bill Winkley
