To save just one
“ I read this story about a starfish.
There was this boy walking along the beach, and he came across the starfish in the sand, and he picked him up and returned him to the ocean.
And this old man came along and yelled at the kids, ‘You think you can save that starfish?’
You think you can change anything?
And the boy, said, ‘Well, if I can save the life of just one, isn’t that worth something?
An that’s how I look at Haiti.”

Almost twelve year ago as I walked among these desperate children for the first time, I felt overwhelmed by the immense need. In that moment I asked God “What can I do? He didn’t give me a complicate mission. He didn’t lay out a big plan, He simply said “ Help them” Those words put a passion and purpose in my heart to care for the hungry. What I’ve seen I must tell to other, and I’ve made a commitment to God to help them out of their plight
Breaking the inter-generational transmission of poverty, violence, disease, and discrimination is an attainable dream. Making certain that every child has the best start in life is not only the legal and morally right thing to do, but is also paramount to measuring a country’s progress and it accomplishments.
Nothing is more rewarding to me than helping others to reach their goals, and fulfilling their dreams.”
